design a drawing machine in three stages.

Stage one:

use mechanical means only.

Stage two:

use digital means only.

Stage three:

use both machanical and digital.

Drawing machine made from Lego (motors and gears), card (body and arm), customised removable paint brush (drawing implement), red duck tape (structural), plastic vacuum form (structural), beads (motion).
The machine draws using different implements dipped in ink.
The machine moves using the up down motion of the arm. The beads provide minimal friction with the surface.
