Define Leisure: Choose
a state of mind that you honestly consider leisure and design towards
taking you to that state.
Leisure > Leisure is an activity that takes place in the moment. When
you are at leisure you think neither of the past nor the future.
Music/sound is an phenomena that allows people to become immersed: "it
happens to me that many times as I walk down the road on my way to...I
start creating these songs or beats in my mind; they entertain and accompany
me. I loose myself to them."
This system allows us to share and collaborate with our beats and songs
as we walk in and out of geographical space:
"When I cross Hyde Park sometimes I get these nice sounds coming
from the other people that are in the park. Those sounds feel really nice
to me, so I tend to choose the path that keeps me within audible range
if their sounds...sometimes I contribute with my own rhythm or voice...it's
really beautiful I wish I had more time in the park to explore..."
The device is a simple object that can be attached to any existing wireless
network, such as mobile phones and allows the exchange of personal beats. |
